22 New Fly Thru for Air Asia Zest!

AirAsia Zest, the low cost carrier that flies hand in hand with AirAsia, voted the World’s Best Low Cost Carrier for six consecutive years, today started offering “Fly-Thru” service from Manila to 22 new destinations in India, Brunei, Jeddah and to popular tourist spots such as Krabi, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Penang, Siem Reap, Bali, Yangon and more!
The all-in introductory fares start at P3,721, inclusive of taxes and fees for one way only are available online at www.airasia.com. Guests are also able to book seats for this new route via AirAsia’s mobile apps on iPhone, Android devices and the Blackberry 10, and also AirAsia’s mobile site at mobile.airasia.com.

AirAsia Zest CEO, Joy Cañeba said, “With the successful launch of our ‘Fly Thru’ service to Australia less than two months ago, we are pleased to announce that we are expanding our network to include some of the world’s most popular tourist destinations in India and exciting attractions and beaches of Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia and Malaysia.”

AirAsia Zest kicked off its fly thru service in July with flights from Manila to Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide in Australia.

AirAsia’s Fly-Thru service offers guests seamless transit, hassle free luggage check-in and other connecting convenience when traveling. Fly-Thru allows guests to seamlessly connect on multiple flight leg (on certain flights) without needing to pass through immigration, collect bags, check-in between flights or have a transit visa. Bags will automatically be checked through to the final destination.

Upon arrival at AirAsia transit point in Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2), passengers with onward boarding pass will be asked to proceed to International Transfer and go through security check.

The new KLIA2 terminal has been dubbed as Malaysia’s Next Generation Hub with modern facilities, entertainment lounge, and retail spaces that could accommodate up to 225 outlets.
“We have partnered with AirAsia, the leading and largest low-cost carrier in Asia, and AirAsia X Berhad, the leading low-cost, long-haul carrier, so guests are assured of the quality of service, safety and comfort,” Cañeba added.
AirAsia X was the first long-haul, low fare carrier to introduce Business Class Flatbed seats, which have standard business class specifications of 20″ width, 60″ pitch and stretch out to 77″ in full recline position. The business class seat feature universal power sockets, adjustable headrests and built-in personal utilities such as tray table, drink holder, reading light and privacy screen.
AirAsia X was awarded the World’s Best Low Cost Airline Premium Cabin and Best Low Cost Airline Premium Seat titles for two consecutive years at the 2014 Skytrax World Airline Awards.
