PLDT Cloud Revolution: A technology uprising for SMEs
SMEs from all over the metro rallied with PLDT SME Nation for their PLDT Cloud movement with its aim of revolutionizing the way entrepreneurs run and operate their business through the Cloud.
Staged in a grand gathering at the newly-opened Solaire Casino and Resort, the PLDT Cloud Revolution was able to gather more than a thousand SME clients who witnessed the launch of PLDT SME Nation’s Cloud-based business solutions that will help boost the growth of local enterprises.
“Today’s launch of PLDT SME Nation’s Cloud-based business solutions is particularly a significant one, as it represents our sincere commitment to supporting the growth of one of the most important industry segments of our society,” said PLDT Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan during the event.
In partnership with Sun Business, IP Converge, and ABM Global Solutions, new cloud-based business applications for HR and Payroll, Accounting, Salesforce.com, Google Apps for Business, SAP Business One, Coupa, along with 13 other business applications were introduced during the program.
“In today’s digital era, enterprises need to innovate the way they manage their operations and the manner in which they interact with their customers in order to stay relevant in their industry,” said PLDT President and CEO Napoleon L. Nazareno.
All these applications are internet or cloud-based and will enable enterprises to consolidate mission critical data from a single store branch to up to 500 branches nationwide.
The event was hosted by TV5’s Martin Andanar and Grace Lee while stand-up comics from SPIT (Silly People’s Improv Theater) tied up the “Revolution” theme rallying up guests to voice out their businesses’ need for change.
