The future of property

Thanks to the webinars hosted by Inquirer Property, we gain valuable insights on real estate issues during this pandemic. Knowing that the future is uncertain and unpredictable, useful information and trends about the real estate market could surely assist us in future-proofing our investments to gain maximum benefits especially during these critical times.

For designers and developers, the key points include learning design guidelines from history (like Chicago after the great fire, or Paris after the cholera epidemic or Leyte after the Yolanda storm), recalibrating existing designs or plans to focus on resilience to financially recover faster and engaging your clients with community interaction and staying connected.

Although there is a temporary setback on property development, real estate business and construction will reopen mid-May. This is the best time to refocus on looking for that ideal home or converting a room in your existing house into a home office. Keep in mind and consider natural lighting and good natural ventilation into future designs, as we now know the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

These are challenging times, both on a local and global scale. The pandemic has significantly changed how we see life and how we live. But it is only by taking on the responsibilities given to us seriously that we have a chance to flatten the curve.

As we come closer to the end of ECQ and enter into a more relaxed quarantine, let us continue to care for our safety and help prevent the spread of this virus. Whenever possible, do stay at home and go out only to do what is essential.

Since we are still on lockdown for Mother’s Day tomorrow, here is an idea as a surprise gift that you may work on and give to your mom after ECQ is over.  Look around your home for old family photos (or keep them in a digital album to be printed later) and make a scrapbook using any coffee table book if there is nothing available. National Bookstore also has online shopping for art materials.

The gift of health is so valuable right now. Aegle Wellness Center, a state-of-the-art health hub that focuses on preventive medicine and holistic health has several wellness treatments that you could buy as a gift for your mother.

Aegle is the country’s first and only facility where the mind and body are nurtured and sustained by a world-class medical team and its unique and bespoke wellness services and programs.

Giving importance to the holistic well-being of its clients, Aegle does not solely focus on medical care. Through the years, the institution has developed programs involving nutrition science, sports science, and aesthetics, in addition to wellness treatments and services for every client’s health needs, such as colon hydrotherapy, light therapy, thalassotherapy, and intravenous (IV) drips. One of the drips that Aegle offers is the Immune Boost IV Drip, which is an infusion of high-dose vitamins and minerals that ensures full absorption and utilization of much-needed micronutrients for the body to support and optimize its immune system.

Aegle is also known for its Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, which exposes the body to high-concentration and high-pressure oxygen to expedite the body’s natural healing process. It helps in creating stronger immune cells since it delivers the much-needed amount of oxygen to the areas of the body otherwise deprived of it in a normal breathing atmosphere. Keeping your immune system strong is the best way to combat any virus infection.

Without a vaccine to cure Covid-19, staying indoors maybe the best solution for now. Aegle has its ongoing online Serenity Series events and one of them is Kundalini Yoga with urban healer Rosan Cruz. Check out @RosanCruz Instagram account and register through to reserve your slot.

Aegle Wellness Center is located at the 6/F The City Club at Alphaland Makati Place 7232, Ayala Avenue Ext. Makati. Check out their website for more details. Balesin Island Club also has its own Aegle Wellness Center for wellness retreats and more.
